The Ferrovial international construction division increased revenues outside Spain by 6.5% to 492 million euro, with an increase in backlog of 63.7% exceeding 2 billion euro.

  • Among the main concession projects were the design and construction of the Central Greece Toll Road (E65), sections 5 and 6 of the SH-130 Toll Road in Texas, the M3 Clonee Toll Road in Ireland or the PR-22 Toll Road between Arecibo and Barceloneta in Puerto Rico. The progress of the construction work on the M3 was 37.83% by December 2007.

  • Consolidation of operations in Greece together with Cintra in the Ionian Greece and Central Greece toll road projects.

  • Completion of the largest border toll road between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

  • Participation in the design of the new East Terminal at Heathrow Airport. Ferrovial was short-listed to participate in the construction of this terminal.

  • Satisfactory evaluation from the Highways Agency (CAT3) for the participation of Ferrovial Agromán in the United Kingdom toll road plan.
