At year-end 2007, Ferrovial demonstrated its status as a diverse global company, with a workforce made up of more than 104,934 employees, 40% of which are based in Spain. The average workforce increased by 13,523 to reach 102,425 employees, which represents 13.20% growth with respect to the same period in the previous year. Net creation of employment in 2007 was 15%.

Of the total average of employees, 13.75% correspond to Airports; 4.01% to Toll Roads and Car Parks, 0.28% to the Corporation, 15.09% to Construction and 66.87% to Services.

Over 82% of employees are manual workers and line personnel, 7.30% hold a degree or diploma, 8.03% are clerical workers and 2.01% corresponds to the number of managers, who at year-end 2007 had an average age of 44.3 years and an average length of service of 9.3 years in the company.
