Promotion Plan

Another initiative was the start-up of the Management Promotion Plan, which was introduced in 2007 in the aim of ensuring that the organisation has professionals available with the skills necessary to fill possible vacancies among the Ferrovial management teams to:

  • Generate a management pool by giving the organisation a mechanism to guarantee internal provision of candidates for management positions, allowing leadership to develop alongside the growth and internationalisation of Ferrovial.

  • Allow continuity of the organisation's leadership and strategic planning, minimising the impact of change on management positions.

  • Strengthening the Group through the application of a promotion management model and process that allows professionals to move around between businesses to reinforce the organisation as a whole and facilitate its development.

The process carried out this year has dealt with planning of promotion for 54 first level management positions, through a talent review process affecting over 250 professionals.
